Data on your computer
Settings, macros, profiles and developer-mode logs are kept as text files under your Windows user, in the %APPDATA%\V-Clicker folder (or next to the program, in portable mode). They are never sent to Vemryx or to third parties.
To delete them, remove that folder. Uninstalling the app does not remove it.
Clicks, keys and screen captures
To record a macro, V-Clicker reads the clicks and keys made in the window you chose, only while you record. To find targets and simulate a macro, it may capture the window or parts of the screen. Password fields are not recorded.
The result stays only in the macro file, on your computer. Text typed in a step is saved as plain text in that file: do not record passwords or confidential data. None of this leaves your computer.
Build with AI (optional)
This feature only acts when you paste your own Anthropic API key and press Generate. At that moment, the text of your description and the name of the chosen app are sent over HTTPS to the Anthropic API, which returns the macro proposal. No screenshot, file or existing macro is sent.
The key stays on your computer, encrypted for your Windows user (DPAPI), and you can delete it at any time in the same dialog. Anthropic handles that content under its own policy; Vemryx does not receive it.
Support (optional)
The Support dialog shows a link to Ko-fi and a Pix key with a QR code. The app does not process payments, does not receive data about supporters and unlocks nothing in return. The link opens your browser, and the payment is handled by Ko-fi or your bank.
Microsoft Store and GitHub
If you installed from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft handles the acquisition, installation and updates, and may share aggregated installation, crash and rating statistics with Vemryx under its own policy. If you downloaded from GitHub, GitHub handles the download.
V-Clicker does not check for updates or connect to the internet on its own. The footer links (GitHub, Vemryx, Support) only open the address in your default browser when you click them.
Third-party services
Retention
Vemryx keeps no V-Clicker usage data because it does not receive any. Local files stay until you delete them.
Your rights
Because Vemryx holds no personal data about you through V-Clicker, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side; you control the local files directly. For questions or requests, including under Brazil’s LGPD, contact us.
